Country Classic Cars Website Review
The subject of this ARA review of a classic and special interest car sales website is the http://www.countryclassiccars.com site from Staunton, Illinois. The review was conducted Saturday, April 24, 2010.
The website features a simple and straightforward format with a white backdrop. Telephone, fax and e-mail contact information is provided. “About the company” information is extensive; photographs of the facility are included, including the gift shop.
The large inventory is listed in chronological order categorized by Classic Cars and Classic Trucks. Presentations for each vehicle listed display large, high-quality photographs from a variety of angles plus interior shots. Listings at the time of review ranged from a 1928 Ford Model A through a 2009 NAP Electric Vehicle! When reviewed, the site contained over 5000 pages of descriptive content!
The inventory ranges from cars requiring extensive restoration to cars in apparently excellent condition. Notable vehicles include a 1950 Ford F1 Pickup, a 1964 Chevrolet El Camino, a 1971 Ford Ranchero, a 1936 Ford humpback, a 1937 Pontiac, a 1951 DeSoto Deluxe, a 1952 Studebaker, a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner retractable hardtop, a 1961 Checker Superba, a 1962 Pontiac Bonneville, a 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT, a 1963 Buick Riviera, a 1965 Rambler Marlin, a 1966 Dodge Charger, a 1979 Buick Riviera, and 1988 and 1990 Buick Reattas.
